Young dancers from across Telford will take to the stage for a special performance organised by students.
Pupils from Hadley Learning Community’s dance course are organising Dance Fest for June 17.
The evening will feature 34 performances including street dancing, contemporary and cheerleading.
Teacher Zoe Hopkins said organising the event was a requirement of the BTEC dance course.
She said the year 11s, aged 15 and 16, had taken on specific roles such as marketing and advertising to help them learn useful skills.
The team has invited children from schools in Telford to perform on the night.
“The students are really busy at the moment and we are really looking forward to it. It’s going to be an evening packed full of dance.”
In addition, the students are holding fundraising events to fund the Dance Fest.
A car boot sale will take place on Hadley Learning Centre’s community car park on June 1. Cars can arrive from 7am with entrance costing £3.50. Shoppers are invited to go along from 8am. Entry costs 50p.
In July, a fancy dress day will be held at the school with pupils invited to dress up as pop stars. A date is still to be fixed.
Dance Fest will begin at 7pm at the school, which is off Waterloo Road in Hadley. Tickets cost £3.50.
