Playtimes will be more fun this term as youngsters start school with new new play equipment.
Staff at St Peter’s Primary School, Bratton, have welcomed 29 youngsters into their reception class this term, who will be allowed to use the new Snug Play equipment.
Headteacher Rod Dean said: “The new children are settling in, making new friends and learning the ropes.”
The creative play equipment has been bought with money collected through fundraising events over the past year.
Mr Dean said: “The new play equipment can fit together in any manner so pupils can create all sorts of things. It helps with the their creative play and imagination.”
The school has children from five years to 11 years old and all are allowed to play with the new equipment.
A member of staff at the school said of this term’s new intake: “They are a lovely little bunch.”
