Pupils from Dothill Primary School, on Severn Drive in Wellington, have been listening to the 1812 overture and creating firework pictures during class to celebrate Guy Fawkes Night.

Jane Preece, year one class teacher, said: “Class members are learning the ‘remember, remember’ poem, learning about the history of Guy Fawkes and about fireworks safety. They are also listening to music by Tchaikovsky and creating a group art piece.

“It is great fun and very noisy. They have made a marvellous piece of work.”`
