Thousands of people arrived at Weston Park to take part in one of the biggest bonfire night’s in the area last weekend.
The stately home, near Shifnal, held the event last Sunday which saw more than 9,500 people gathered to see the bonfire lit at 5.30pm.
There were also two fireworks displays - one at 6pm and one at 7.30pm -which were set off to music including Mission Impossible and the Pink Pantha theme tunes.
Also at the park ther was a large funfair, food stalls and candyfloss and a radio roadshow to entertain visitors.
Andrea Webster, from Weston Park, said: “We had a great time. The numbers were on par with other years and the weather was not that cold.”
One Telford resident said: “It was my first time at the event and I really enjoyed it.
“The fireworks were really good.”
