Wellington’s town manager has welcomed a new Polish food store to the town.
Magdalenka, based in The Court on Church Street, sells Polish, Latvian and English food.
Ari Hakim, from Magdalenka, said: “We are the only Polish store in Wellington.”
Christopher Fry, Wellington town manager, said: “I am really pleased because it is employing people and contributing to the economy. I think it is brilliant.
“I am pleased to see something a bit different to the town.
“We have had 10 new shops in the last six months which suggests to me we are moving in the right direction.”
