A Telford couple are hoping their romantic gesture will raise hundreds of pounds for charity when they renew their wedding vows later this year.

Lisa Wass, of Oakfield Road, Shawbirch, and her husband Barry, are planning to renew their vows after meeting more than 10 years ago in Hadley.
The couple have decided to use the event to raise much-needed cash for Birmingham Children’s Hospital after Mrs Wass spent her childhood in and out of hospital.
When Mrs Wass was just 10 years old, she was diagnosed with Sick Sinus Node dysfunction, a heart condition, and has since been fitted with 10 pacemakers to help with the condition.
“I have been in hospital since I was 10,” she said. “I started going there when I collapsed at school and found out I had Sick Sinus Node dysfunction. I kept blacking out.
“I have had 10 pacemakers now. They are supposed to last 10 years but these have only lasted two or three. My heart really depends on them.
“The money is for the children on the heart ward. I am hoping to raise as much money as possible. It is heart-wrenching to see babies on the ward wrapped in foil.”
Mrs Wass met her husband when she was celebrating her 21st birthday and the pair married at Hadley Parish Church in 1999.
She is now collecting raffle prizes for the family event at Hadley Community Centre which will be decked out with hearts and the colour red. A Take That tribute band will perform.
Mrs Wass is now calling out for people to help by donating raffle prizes. Call her on 07815616441.
