Students are pulling out all the stops to help raise awareness and cash during Fairtrade fortnight.

Youngsters from the Charlton School in Wellington have been organising a range of promotional activities including a concert.
Adam Briggs, Geography teacher, said: “The whole event has been organised by the Year 9 students in my Geography class. They have made posters and organised activities for Fairtrade fortnight, and are raising money and awareness for Fairtrade.”
Activities include selling Fairtrade products at the Charlton and at Dothill Primary during break times and using Fairtrade products in food technology classes. Youngsters will also be making recipe cards to encourage the use of Fairtrade products.
Fairtrade fortnight runs until March 7.
