Superheroes, comic characters, actors and thousands of people arrived at Telford International Centre last weekend for an out of this world experience.

Actors from Harry Potter and Doctor Who spin-off The Sarah Jane Adventures, attended the Midland MCM Expo on Saturday to hand out their autographs and meet comic book fans.
There was also a Robot Live section where event visitors saw robots battling it out in the ring.
Visitors arrived dressed as their favourite comic-book characters and had travelled from as far afield as Liverpool, Glasgow, and London for the day.
Matthew Lewis, who plays Neville Longbottom in Harry Potter, and Warwick Davis who plays professor Flitwick in
Harry Potter, were at the event.
Mr Davis told fans: “Whenever I come here I always feel underdressed.”
Mr Lewis said: “It is pretty cool here. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I came down. I am surprised about the amount of costumes.”

Co-organiser Bryan Coney: “We got just short of 5,000 people. We were absolutely delighted with the incredible turn out at the Midlands MCM Expo. It was great to see so many families attending.
“It was wonderful to see so many people having a great day out. We look forward to coming back to Telford in February 2011.”
