A Telford parish council has launched its first ever website to keep people updated on events in the community.
Hadley and Leegomery Parish Council has spent nearly £800 on creating the website www.hadleyandleegomery-pc.org.uk
The site contains information about meetings, youth activities, Castle Farm Community Centre and other activities.
Colin Potts, clerk of the council, said: “The initial cost for the design was £792.”
Pat Smart, chairman of the parish council, has taken some of the photographs for the site.
She said: “It’s very exciting although it is at the early embryonic stages. The website will help keep people posted in the parish.”
Borough councillor, Roger Aveley, said: “It looks very professional.
“It is a first for Hadley and Leegomery. I think it is a step forward in the right direction. It will keep people up to date.”
