Murder mystery fundraiser

It will be a case of Who Dunnit? in Shifnal when a ‘unique’ murder mystery takes place in July.

Haughton Hall general manager Tom Hindle with wo’s Company’s Jon and Suzi Rixon and Shifnal Festival director Kurt Jacobs.Super sleuths are invited to take part in the fundraising Murder Mystery event being held at Haughton Hall on Saturday, July 3.

The evening, which includes a three course meal and bubbly, will see professional actors taking guests through a series of a baffling clues.

They will be asked to unmask the murderer, or murderers, in their midst.

The evening is being arranged to raise cash for Shifnal’s first Arts Festival.

Festival chairman Tony Stringfellow says: “Haughton Hall is the ideal location for a murder evening – a historic building with an air of romance and mystery about it. Just by travelling up that long drive and seeing the hall’s period exterior you are drawn back to a world of classic murder mysteries.”

Shifnal Festival runs from September 18 to 26 with street performances, a day of dance, a Shifnal’s Got Talent competition, poetry recitals, and a classical concert.
